Innovet Restomyl Dentalcroc for Cats contains brown seaweed(Ascophyllum nodosum), the use of which has been patented and whose benefits on oral health have been specifically demonstrated in the companion animal.
Brown seaweed is absorbed after oral administration and, through circulation, reaches the salivary glands to concentrate in saliva. Here it prevents the growth on the tooth surface of the bacterial component of plaque and reduces tartar deposition. The first sign of improved oral health is the disappearance of bad breath. Restomyl® Dentalcroc does not contain any ingredients that mask bad breath odor.

Administration
Beginning with the appearance of permanent teeth, administer Restomyl® Dentalcroc once daily in the amounts indicated in the table. Restomyl® Dentalcroc may be administered alternately with Restomyl® Supplement as an oral health "reward." To maintain proper oral health Restomyl® Dentalcroc should be used daily for long periods of time (minimum 8 months).
