Almo Nature Nutritional Advice
For optimal nutritional balance and a varied diet, Almo Nature recommends always alternating between the different protein sources-white meat, red meat, and fish-and dividing the cat's diet between 60% wet food (a source of hydration and noble proteins) and 40% dry food (to ensure his meal frequency). A diet based on alternating wet and dry food respects the cat's physiological need for fluids (the cat instinctively does not drink since he takes water from his diet) and that of having many small meals throughout the day. The Almo Nature Nutritional Council is based on the cat's original eating habits as a predator and carnivore, and on the lifestyle of modern cats, which is characterized by a more sedentary lifestyle and therefore reduced calorie requirements.
