With the concept of "pet food with all 100% human-grade ingredients," 16 years ago Birgitta Ornau set absolutely innovative quality standards in the field of animal nutrition. Thanks to a special permit from the Upper Bavarian government, Terra Canis and Terra Felis were the first animal feeds on the market produced within a real food company.

This was possible because, from the very beginning, only ingredients officially deemed fit for human consumption were used because of their freshness and quality at the time of processing.
