Seresto® is an innovative collar with a special technological system.
It is made with an innovative polymer structure (Polymer Matrix ) that stores the active ingredients inside the collar and releases them gradually only after it has been worn.
The active ingredients, released at a low and constant dosage throughout the duration of the treatment, are distributed over the entire skin surface as needed, providing protection for up to 8 months.
Seresto® is water-resistant; the polymer structure retains the active ingredients inside the collar. This means that even if the animal gets wet or washed, there is no need to remove the collar.
Monthly washing with shampoo or soaking in water does not significantly reduce the 8-month activity against ticks, the activity against fleas gradually decreases from the fifth month.
