The lamb meat in EagleDog Lamb kibble is in a dehydrated form, meaning that the protein from the meat is 11 times more concentrated than fresh meat, as fresh meat contains at least 70% water.
So other foods that contain, say, 30% fresh meat, once it is dehydrated, the protein from the meat is more concentrated.

Lamb meat contains a high percentage of proteins of high biological value with good quantities and an excellent balance of all the amino acids essential for the development, growth and maintenance of all parts of the animal's body; there are also certain amino acids, known as "essential" (lysine, tryptophan, sulphur amino acids, etc.), which are essential for the development of muscles.
